Hi friends! Welcome back! I'm the Matron of Honor for one of my best friend's weddings coming up in May, so for the past several months I have been planning her Bachelorette Party and last weekend it was finally here. I have never been in charge of planning anything my entire life so to say I was nervous is a major understatement. Luckily it turned out soooo incredibly perfect and my bestie was so happy which was the #1 goal of course.
The party was a 2-night stay in NYC. We stayed at an amazing hotel called Hotel Belleclaire which was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Everything was extremely clean, the staff was super friendly and the rooms were spacious. We booked a 2-bedroom suite which had plenty of space for 7 girls to hang out and sleep comfortably. On the first night we stayed in and had a cute little slumber party with matching sweatshirts that I made for the girls. On day two we went to a drag brunch at Lips, which was such a fun experience and after that we went to a custom lipstick making class at Lip Lab which was equally as fun! I definitely recommend both of those activities for people looking for fun things to do with a group in the city.
After that, we headed back to the hotel to relax and take our time getting ready for dinner. I managed to get us a reservation at Don Angie which is one of my proudest achievements to this day because everyone told me it was impossible. Guys...if you can, I HIGHLY suggest trying to get a reservation because the food...indescribable. By far one of the best meals I have ever had. We decided to sample a huge portion of the menu so we ordered the famous rolled lasagna, the stuffed garlic flatbread, the chrysanthemum salad, the gnocchi, the garganelli giganti, the steak, & the buffalo milk caramelle. Every single thing was insanely delicious, but we all loved the salad the most. 10/10!
On the final morning we went to a nice brunch at The Consulate which was a super cute restaurant with really good food. It was the perfect way to end the most beautiful weekend with an amazing group of girls. I am still beaming about how great everything went and I'm so so happy that I was able to give my bestie a bachelorette she loved. The only outfits worth noting are my Saturday outfits so I'll add links for those below. Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
