Bomber Baby

Hi friends! Welcome back! This post is an exciting one (for me at least) because I have finally found an item that I have been searching for, for months. That's right, you guessed it. The one piece in this outfit you guys haven't seen before...say hello to my newest edition, this beautiful vintage leather bomber jacket. I named her Belle. I feel like we all have our random items and things that, for whatever reason, we desperately want even if other people don't understand why or don't care to have it themselves. This was one of those things for me. I've seen so many fashion girls showing off their gorgeous vintage bombers that they found at their local thrift stores. Unfortunately, I had no luck finding one for myself that was in great condition. Then, I saw one of the girls I follow on Instagram mention that she found hers on eBay. Don't judge me but I had literally never used eBay before in my life. For whatever reasons I made up in my head, I didn't trust it, but I was desperate so I decided to give it a try and just like that I found the leather bomber of my dreams for an unbeatable price. All this happened a week ago and here we are. My beauty is home with me and I can officially say I'm now a proud supporter of eBay shopping!

It's been pretty chilly here in Jersey for the past couple of weeks and as excited as I am for it to warm up again, I'm grateful for these cooler days so I can get some use out of this bomber before the fall. I styled it with my everyday, go-to base pieces, which consist of a white tee, my trusty 501 Levi's and a chic kitten heel. Jeans and a white tee/tank with a stylish jacket or blazer on top and a cute low heel is my favorite outfit combo. I feel like looks like these capture the true essence of "me" if that makes sense. What I love about it is that even though it's essentially the same look, there are so many ways to keep it looking new and fresh. Different shoes, different jackets, lots of accessories, different washes and fits of jeans, different types of white tees/tanks. You can make it as casual as an errands outfit or as dressed up as a nice dinner look. If it's too warm for a jacket or jeans, swap the jeans for shorts and rely on fun shoes and accessories. I could legitimately go on forever so I'll spare you guys, but trust me on this. If you're ever stumped about what to wear, follow this outfit formula and you'll thank me later.
