Hi friends! Welcome back! The weather has dropped to insanely low temps here in NJ and I can't tell you how many times I've heard some version of "it's too cold for me to wear anything cute." I'm guilty of saying this exact sentence, but I've learned that, that is so far from the truth. When it comes to super cold, bone chilling weather, you can still look stylish while also staying warm. All you need is a long wool or wool blend coat, a big chunky scarf, and a beanie or sleek fuzzy earmuffs. Obviously I would also advise piling on some layers underneath, but since outerwear seems to be the struggle for most of us, let's focus on that.
It was about 15 degrees this past weekend and while I would have preferred to stay indoors and avoid the freezing cold, I figured it would be a good opportunity for me to throw together a look that proved it's possible to be cute and warm. I followed the exact outfit formula I mentioned above and it was the perfect amount of cute and cozy. I will admit that I forgot my gloves which were 100% necessary so I wouldn't suggest skipping those. Luckily, chic gloves are really easy to find. I would go with leather for ultimate chic-ness. Okay, that's all for this week! All outfit details are listed below. I hope everyone has an amazing holiday/rest of the year! Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
