Grandpa Blazer, Literally

Hi friends! Welcome back! Jason and I just got back from a family vacation which means summer is officially over for me and I can focus all of my energy into creating fall looks! I always thought I was someone who was decent at multitasking but this summer made me realize that...that couldn't be further from the truth. This year consisted of planning a wedding, getting married, being in my best friend's wedding in another state, going on a honeymoon, and then a family vacation right after that. Needless to say I have had very little brain power to give to anything else in my life. Don't get me wrong, it has all been amazing and my wedding day was the absolute best day of my life, but I am definitely ready to fully dive back into my blogging journey. I have soo many ideas for fall outfits swirling in my head and I'm glad I can finally take the time to execute them.

This outfit is a special one because the main attraction is a vintage piece that belonged to Jason's grandfather. I was gifted this beautiful blazer by Jason's family. I couldn't even tell you how many years old it is, but the quality is still incredible and the oversized-ness is perfection. By now, you guys know that oversized blazers are my absolute favorite item of clothing and I never would have thought to purchase a navy pin striped one on my own so naturally, I could not wait to style this baby. I figured I would honor this gem with a look that's very true to me...a white bodysuit, jeans, sneakers & a baseball cap. "Stylish soccer mom" vibes is what I always aim for when it comes to an every day outfit and this look is exactly what I was trying to accomplish. All outfit details are listed below! Until next time, tootles sugar plums! Xoxo.
