Hi friends! Welcome back! It's been a while hasn't it? The month of September was a whirlwind to say the least. One of my best friends got married earlier this month and I was lucky enough to be a part of her amazing day, but we only had one day in between her wedding and our week long family vacation. Needless to say, I just haven't had the time to really focus on shooting and/or writing content. Now that life has finally slowed down I am happy to say that I am back!
I'm sure it's no surprise to you guys that I couldn't wait to break out my trench coats this season. It's still pretty warm here but you know what? I'm over waiting. If I have to sweat to death in order to get my fall looks in then that's what I'll do. I recently got this trench after seeing it in an ad on Instagram and I just couldn't resist. Can you blame me? Trench coats in general are the perfect fall layering piece (next to blazers of course). This one in particular caught my eye because of the super cute wing detail in the back, as well the long length and the oversized-ness. Making up words is fine as long as your audience knows what you mean, right? Anyway, I couldn't wait to take this baby out for a spin so I made sure to do just that the first chance I got and I love how this look turned out. As you all know, I'm a simple girl. Give me a pair of high waisted jeans, a bodysuit, and a chic coat/blazer/jacket and I'm happy. It sounds simple, but I feel like I've proven, at this point, that less is usually more.
